Figments of My Imagination

My work is inspired by nature and my sometimes silly sense of humor.

I am certain I have been successful when my art makes me smile. While creating, forming and uniting jewels, stones, metals, found objects and antiques, I'll work until I drop. What makes my jewelry and sculpture creating fun is the incorporation of funk, whimsy, beauty and nature into my art. The unexpected chuckle from the heart is what I am after, even when my jewelry and sculpture creation's intention is artistic sophistication.

I am a resident artist at Center for Visual Arts (VisArts) in Rockville, Maryland. My studio is in my old log house where I live surrounded by parkland, art, antiques, critters and my garden.
