I’m Matthew Nance, lifetime, Maryland resident, I have a technical background, 30 years, graphic arts/commercial printing, which led me to apply my experience, to utilize the liquid acrylic medium, & create a new expressionist style, using only liquidity and gravity, to create the composition, harnessing the serpentine footprint & natural color blending of liquid!  Virtually, any scene, can be made this way, I’ve developed a technique, to do just that.  I’ve had reactions, describing my work, as natural, ethereal, personal, spiritual. Nature never makes an aesthetic mistake, like woodgrain, marble, etc. I feel, the possibilities are endless, and must be explored, they are so beautiful!  Archival quality, liquid acrylic on canvas.
